BLB advises bank syndicate on financing Georgian beverage company

BLB advises the bank syndicate comprising European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Dutch development bank FMO and one of Europe's largest development finance institutions, DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH on arrangement of a €18.5 million syndicated loan for Global Beer Georgia LLC, to support the construction and operation of a greenfield brewery.
Global Beer Georgia’s planned new brewery will produce both locally developed and international beer brands, such as Heineken, Krusovice and Amstel, to satisfy the demands of the growing market in Georgia. 
We are proud to be the part of the project, which supports the agribusiness sector, promotes the local private sector and the adoption of best European standards and environmental practices.
