Labor Law Forum organized by BLB at Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi

BLB launched a Forum: New Challenges in Labor Law at Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi on 15 December 2018. 

Supreme Court Judge Eka Gasitashvili, EU Law Expert Eka Kardava, Poti Sea Port Corporation’s HR Director Lela Kvantaliani, BLB’s Litigation Partner Zaza Japaridze and Founding Partner David Khaindrava addressed a variety of emerging labor law topics during the interactive panel discussion.

Forum was attended by representatives of law firms, audit companies, senior executives, HR managers, in-house counsels from various industries of Georgian economy. 

Discussions covered recent precedents related to labor law from Supreme Court practice on termination of labor contracts, results of annulment of such terminations, issues related to distribution of burden of proof in labor law disputes and challenges Georgian labor legislation faces within association process to the European Union.
