BLB REPRESENTS SHAREHOLDER OF TBILAVIAMSHENI LLC ON MAJOR EXPROPRIATION CASE AGAINST THE STATE

BLB serves as a legal counsel of former shareholders of Tbilaviamsheni LLC and represents them in the USD 67,000,000 court litigation against the State represented by Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and LEPL-National Agency of State Property. 

Tbilaviamsheni has been the only company involved in the manufacturing and repair of military aviation production within the territory of southern Caucasus region following the World War II. Throughout its history the company has manufactured more than 8500 various types of military aircrafts and exported them to numerous countries in the world. 
In 2010 the State has obtained the ownership over the company though expropriation. Since December 2012 shareholders of the company are trying to recover their property rights illegally deprived from the shareholders by the governmental authorities. 

BLB together with one of the most authoritative non-governmental organization, GYLA, has been representing the shareholders of Tbilaviamsheni in major expropriation case against the State since 2016.
