David Khaindrava is a founding Partner of BLB. Prior to founding BLB, he served as Senior Expert at the Commercial Law Department of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. At the same time, he was a member of the State Commission for Legal Reform and was involved in the legislative drafting process of nearly all major private laws of Georgia, including the Civil Code of Georgia.
Mr. Khaindrava has considerable experience in energy, corporate, privatization, joint venture, real estate and construction law representing clients from both commercial and residential sectors. He is an expert in tax and customs laws and has valuable experience in representing clients in disputes before governmental institutions and in the courts of Georgia. Mr. Khaindrava provides the full scope of legal services to domestic corporate clients involving labor, corporate governance, M&A, secured and unsecured financing transactions, and is able to provide tailored and comprehensive legal solutions for his clients on a wide variety of business issues.
In addition to his corporate practice, Mr. Khaindrava has an extensive experience in commercial litigation, including appellate and arbitration representation.
Mr. Khaindrava obtained his law degree, with Honors, from Tbilisi State University in 1995.
Alongside his native Georgian, Mr. Khaindrava is fluent in Russian.
